Yes, I had surgery twice to the vocal cords (larynx) polyps. Years ago. I think it was is completely extinguished or if not entirely, at least I do not much you know! I only know that the only thing that my sore throat and does not irritate (painful) after halls for a while. I also remember that the doctor did not want me to talk or whisper for a while one weeks (maybe), and writing things on paper to communicate and heal the throat. I remember with certainty that there is a painful operation, during and after stations. Therefore, it is a good thing. I also know that after the surgery, I have never been, as he was before he underwent surgery could sing. I sang in the church choir and after the operation could not sing in the choir anymore, because my voice did not go "wherever I want." My voice is very good, but after that I sing, I can not prior to the note. Also, I often scratchy throat. I had throat polyps removed twice about 18 months apart, with no negative side effects are real. Good luckor. I've run a laryngiscopic every two years, only to things check out. I do not have cancer. I did not smoke a history of smoking, but too. I drink lots of water.
